Cat has abandonment issues! HELP!?

It might be because it's afraid of the dog, being alone with it.. but if thats not the case put a lot more litterboxes around the house so that he/she knows that theres a nearest one, and since noones home you wont need to worry about tripping on it or it being in the way and such
